TMCA Digital Certificate(eCert) is an identity certificate or a public key certificate that uses a digital signature to bind a public key with an identity _ information such as name of a person or an organization, addresess, IC number and etc . The certificate can be used to verify that a public key belongs to an individual, organization or device. In a public key infrastructure(PKI) enviroment, the signature on a certificate provides confirmation by TMCA that the identity information and the public key are truly certified, authenticated and protected. The signature is provided by TM Certification Authority (TMCA), a licensed CA services provider in Malaysia.
TMCA Server Certificate or SSL is to ensure secure connection from user client to HTTPS-based web sites. SSL is critical for electronic commerce and secure online transactions such as Internet Banking. SSL is issued with a Certificate Signing Request (CSR), which is an electronic document that contains the web site name, contact email address, company information and the public key. For security reasons the private key is not the part of the request and is not sent to the certificate authority. A web browser validates that a TLS(Transport Layer Security) web server is authentic, trustworthy and secure. TMCA is a licensed CA services provider in Malaysia
